Silk Crepe de Chine – 100% Silk
Measures approx 2" x 2m 85cm continous ribbon.
A heavier silk which lends itself to a beautiful drape.
My seconds are ribbons that I feel have not quite made the grade, could be that the natural pigment is too uneven, heavy marbling occurred, the silk is pulled, a small hole.
Depending on use, they will still lend themselves beautifully to enhance projects.
Due to the nature of the fabric, you will find that the natural frayed edge will have threads coming loose, do NOT pulls these but trim with a pair of sharp scissors
These have been made using 100% natural dye, carefully hand torn and dyed in house.
Please note I have tried to use natural lighting to showcase the colour correctly, however, it may differ due to lighting and monitors. If you need an exact match, please do contact me and I will do my best to help.
Hand Dyed Silk - Life is Peachy
Keep the silks out in a cool, dry dark place to keep the colour. These will naturally lose their colour over time as is the nature of natural products but you can keep them fresh for longer by keeping them as advised.
I do not recommend washing the ribbons.
Iron on a ‘silk’ setting – very low. Use a water spray for stubborn creases.
